Greata Ranch Estate Winery
Inspired by childhood memories of the warm summer sun, sweet fresh fruit, and cool blue waters of Okanagan Lake, Senator Ross Fitzpatrick knew Greata Ranch was ripe with potential when he purchased the land over a decade ago. For nearly a century now, the Fitzpatrick family, who founded CedarCreek Estate Winery, has been influential in the Okanagan agricultural industry. With the purchase of the historic orchard, Senator Fitzpatrick continued their tradition by restoring the agricultural splendour of the old Greata Ranch. Forty acres of carefully groomed vineyard now rise up the western shore of Okanagan Lake midway between Kelowna and Penticton.
Long before grapevines draped the hills of Greata Ranch, the Fitzpatrick family developed a set of beliefs that define their character as agriculturalists: "Respect the land, honour tradition, pursue perfection."
